Saoirse

Paul Z. Walker

Tralee, a city in the south west of Ireland, harbours many pubs. One of them is the 'Spirit of the Sidhe'. It's where Saoirse works as a waitress, but there's more to her than meets the eye.

Together with an unexpected ally, she and members from her clan need to find out what is going around an important, ancient Irish monument, the Stone of Destiny, or Lia Faíl.

Join Saoirse on her quest to find out who is messing with the Stone in our world and the other one, where Fomorians, Sluagh and other Irish mythical creatures still roam freely, in an exciting, fast-paced tale about a woman living in two worlds, a monster, and plenty of moments where clothes need to go.

Saoirse

Dean J. · July 1, 2026

Finished reading Saoirse (sur-sha) today. (20260701)
It was a very enjoyable read and was a good introduction to Irish mythology as well as a nice romance story.
I loved the fact that this was a longer story, as short stories often leave me wanting.
I read it on my kindle fire tablet and I especially liked being able to highlight a word and have it pronounced for me.
