Once again he is helped in his mission by Bea, his naturist girlfriend, she who christened him 'Rags'. This time a cast of new friends from across Europe lend a hand too.

Will the Uncovered Policeman succeed in nailing the baddies?
Naked jogging, is it a good idea?
How big a car do you need for a camping holiday?
What is a Stonewall Jack?
The answer to these and one or two other questions you were never going to ask are revealed as the Uncovered Policeman continues his journey from Rags to Riches ...

Two Weddings and a Naming picks up the story of The Uncovered Policeman soon after the end of Goodbye Blues. As the name implies it is the story of two weddings ..... Whos?and a Naming ..... Obvious if you read the other stories, it is the Uncovered Policeman's baby. I tried hard to write it to be read as a stand alone story but I know the protagonists pretty well by now so if there is anything you dont understand get in touch .... I'll put in the missing facts in the next edition and you will get the rewrite automatically (the joy of e-books).A tale of a fun filled winter for the denizens of the sunny Rags to Riches world! The fifth story in the Rags to Riches series, can be read as a standalone book.

Rags and Bea are on the return trip from their adventure in the Caribbean paradise of St Maarten. On the island, they stayed at the famous Club Orient, all expenses paid, while they helped Bea’s long-lost Uncle Dave (as his alter ego Canadian rock star Lucifer Lightning) protect his new recordings from pirates.

They even ended up helping to stage a bare gig while Rags took pictures for the ‘Stripped’ album cover.

The bare gig having gone so well there is a plan for Lucifer Lightning to bring his band to the UK and Europe for a tour and some naturist festival shows. This means that for the first time since before Bea was even a twinkle in her mum’s eye, Mum, Sylvia, and her brother Dave will be on the same continent.

Will it be a happy reunion or will fur fly? Whichever, Rags, the Uncovered Policeman will be there with his camera to record it all for the Family Album.

a recommended read for around the pool, waiting at the airport, or on the train to work dreaming of your next holiday! Crispy in the UK

Jeni and Karin are part of the up and coming young band, Five Point.

As Sam came round, a stabbing pain in her chest made her wince. She was hurting everywhere. Her eyes were stuck, swollen shut. She struggled to move and pain shot through her arms and legs.
“Keep still, love. The ambulance is on the way.” She heard a man’s voice; friendly, confident and reassuring.
Sensing his strength and that he was there to protect her; she allowed herself to relax. In the distance she could hear sirens, they were coming for her. She was safe.

An email from an old friend piques the interest of Rags the Uncovered Policeman (retired).

Hi Rags,
I have had a visit from an old neighbour of mine and Gill’s, from back in the day. A guy called Ian Francis. He works in the TV industry, something to do with making light entertainment programmes. He is looking for a venue to make a drama programme. He visited us but after we had talked it through we decided that we couldn’t offer consistent enough weather for making a drama over several weeks.
Consequently, I suggested your place in early spring might be better. He said he would get in touch. It all seems really genuine, unlike some of the documentary programs we get asked to participate in. Give him a listen.

Rags' place?
The popular holiday destination, L'Abeille Nue. A naturist resort in the French countryside between the historic cities of Carcassonne and Narbonne.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began
The tenth story in the Rags to Riches series featuring the Uncovered Policeman. There are huge changes afoot at L'Abeille Nue. The naturist resort in the Southern France that Rags and Bea Adiscombe opened on the site of a failed riding stables many years earlier has changed over the passing of time. Evolution, not revolution have been the watch words. Suddenly there has been a major shift in the axis of their world. Now Rags is on a mission at the request of Bea. It could have been a lonely mission. Fortunately, he has a network of friends and family to help him along the way. Some are new to the story, like Horse, who takes Rags along the length of the most famous road in the world. On the way, there is still time for him to find the normal mix of sun and laughter. This is a stand-alone story but is most definitely better read in the sequence set out in the series.

Rags is a lucky man. According to Steve Thomas reviewing. This tale

Rags the Uncovered Policeman and the new woman in his life, Professor Kimberly Stern, have taken up residence on the island of New Albion.
Kim has a new job at the University. Rags has a lot of photographic work to do. Busy people. The relaxed attitude to nudity, as far as the law is concerned; it is not a problem of itself, suits them both down to the ground.
Then, well, things happen.
Then that is life as you get older and the kids grow up ...

Populate it as you wish, no gender or species for your characters is specified."

Maybe we should have been more specific ... Nah!
We got fairies, met in woodland groves; ones that explain the true nature of the world, some taking you home to meet their family while others whisk you off to Venus.
Meanwhile, in other dimensions or times people adventure through temporal holes, across the depth of space to encounter aliens, some brilliant others stupid enough to be politicians. Meet Scientist who can change the nature of planets and hunters of people and the Zarak.

Early in 2020, naturist fiction author P. Z. Walker had the idea for a collection of mystery stories to be called “Murder in the Nudist Colony,” deliberately using the antiquated term “nudist colony” for a slightly retro, humorous touch. On social media platforms, mostly Twitter, other folks associated with the fine network of naturist authors chimed in. Ted Bun put together the call for submissions, Robert Longpré set up the page to share documents as well as the ISBN, Fabien Barabé designed the cover… and we’ve ended up with fifteen submissions within a relatively quick timeframe. Will Forest and Ted Bun volunteered to edit. The project has been a strong example of an online community working together! The nudist “colony” as a setting for a murder mystery ... And, this collection has it all! Stories set all over Europe and the Americas and beyond? Check. Naked murder victims? Check. Oddly clothed murder victims? Check. Victims murdered at the nudist resort? Check. Victims murdered elsewhere and then brought to the nudist resort? Check. Nudist murderers? Check. Non-nudist murderers? Check. Gendarmes, constables, cops and miscellaneous support folks who have to get naked to do their jobs at the nudist resort? Check. Same, but who choose to get naked at the nudist park? Check. And a long list of etceteras – you get the idea: theme and variations. It all makes for a very entertaining read! And of course, like any good collection of mysteries, there are red herrings, bizarre details, spectacular suspense, gruesome finds, intriguing characters, oddly plausible motives, and much, much more! Get ready to be knocked off your bare bottom by some stellar stories! All the proceeds from this anthology will go to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).

The nude romance collection of this or any other year!
A worthy addition to the canon of naturist literature. Seventeen writers, eighteen stories, all with a common objective: portraying a romance at a naturist venue somewhere in the modern, Western world. Young love, love between seniors, love twixt people who have just met, the rekindling of old loves, laments for loves lost. They are all included. Naturist fiction is a relatively new genre where social nudism and casual nudity play a significant role in plot, character, setting, and/or conflict in the story. For this volume, a follow-up anthology to Murder in the Nudist Colony, the challenge was to take a traditional plot—that of a romance—and have the setting be a nudist colony, or as many now call them, a naturist park or resort.
Does the setting change the rules of such a story, or the nature of the characters involved, or the plot? That is a question to be answered by you, the reader, once you have read these stories. You will be pleasantly surprised. All proceeds will go to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders.

Ted Bun, The Naturist Fiction Collaborative, Paul Z. Walker, Pip Dunbar, Jerom Buijsse, Molly Freytag, Dave Zigzag, Andrew Calow, Nikola Novak, Steve Green

Write a short story for a collection called Adventures Without Clothes - 20 people rose to the challenge!
The guidelines were as follows: “Your story can be set anywhere in this world or any other you wish to create. Some of the people on this adventure must be without clothing for all or part of the undertaking. You should seek to include some elements of either quest, journey or rescue and some physical risk or danger for your protagonists. Gender or species of your protagonists are not specified but your narrative should reflect the values of naturism/nudism.”
In this anthology we celebrate acts of bravery and derring-do, real and imagined, encompassing many kinds of experiences. The stories gathered here show collectively that nudity can be a state of vulnerability, but also, and just as importantly, a state of strength.

Slip into something comfortable and enjoy!
